Kathmandu. The meeting of the Council of Ministers has approved the visit of a Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister Balen Shah to the United States of America to attend the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today took the decision in this regard, said government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel. The meeting also decided to form a Nepali dialogue team to participate in the meeting of the Nepal-India Inter-Governmental Sub-Committee to be held in New Delhi, India. The cabinet has also given in-principle approval to formulate a bill related to the control of improper transaction (meter interest) crime. The meeting also decided to approve the list of 17,4
38 poor households of 27 local levels of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Saptari and Dang.
Similarly, Dr.
Hari Prasad Lamsal has been appointed as the chairperson of the Teachers Service Commission. Hari Prasad Lamsal has been appointed as a member, Ram Sharan Sapkota as a member and Bishnu Ghimire Rimal as a woman member.
The meeting also promoted Joint Secretary Binod Bahadur Kunwar to the post of Gazetted Special Class Secretary and posted as Principal Secretary at the Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Lumbini Province. Similarly, Joint Secretary Uttar Kumar Khatri has been promoted to the post of Secretary and posted as Principal Secretary at the Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Sudurpaschim Province.
