The prices of vegetables and fruits are
Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has released the minimum wholesale price of agricultural products for today (Saturday).
According to the committee, the price of big Nepali tomato is Rs 70 per kg, Indian big tomato is Rs 80 and small (tunnel) tomato is Rs 52 per kg. Potato Red (Lamcho) is being sold at Rs 50, red potato (round) at Rs 48 per kg, potato red (mude) at Rs 48, Indian red potato at Rs 42 and white potato at Rs 35. Indian dried onion is being sold at Rs 90, local carrot at Rs 100 and Terai carrot at Rs 70. Similarly, the price of cabbage (local) is Rs 20, local cauliflower Rs 90, red radish Rs 20, white radish (hybrid) Rs 25, lamcho brinjal Rs 20, Dalo brinjal Rs 40, stem beans Rs 70, maize beans Rs 100, ghee beans (local) Rs 90 per kg and ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 90 per kg. Similarly, beans are being traded at Rs 80, soybean at Rs 100, bitter gourd at Rs 60, gourd at Rs 60, gourd at Rs 70, Ghiraula at Rs 50, ripe beans at Rs 60, green beans at Rs 30 and okra at Rs 60. Mustard greens have been fixed at Rs 50, spinach at Rs 150, mustard greens at Rs 80 and green onion at Rs 100. Kanye mushroom is Rs 200, Dalle mushroom Rs 550, king mushroom Rs 300, Sitake mushroom Rs 800, Kurilo Rs 400, Nuro Rs 90, broccoli Rs 150, beetroot Rs 60, celery Rs 400, mint Rs 600 and gante radish Rs 100. Similarly, the committee has fixed apple (Fuji) at Rs 350 per kg, apple (mustang) at Rs 130 per kg, banana (Nepali) at Rs 150 per dozen, banana (Malbhog) at Rs 100 per dozen, lemon at Rs 350 per kg, pomegranate at Rs 250 per kg and watermelon (green) at Rs 50.
