Janak Pariyar has been arrested
Kathmandu. Janak Pariyar, coordinator of the National Awareness Campaign, has been arrested. A team from the Police Range, Bhadrakali was arrested from Dabali Prangangan Anamnagar at 5:45 pm after conducting a program on contemporary political issues in Sambad Dabali on Saturday afternoon.
He was arrested soon after the program organized by Janak Pariyar today. Senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi and senior advocate Dr. Surendra Bhandari were also present on the occasion. The speakers said that the government has hurt the flood victims rather than providing relief.
Earlier, he was arrested by the Campus Bhadrakali on May 29 for making a controversial statement. A week later, he was released after the Supreme Court ordered his release. According to a family member, he had just come with a date to appear in court on December 22.
