Kathmandu. Nepali movie ‘Jhingedau 2’ is ready for release. After the first series got good support from the audience, the cast and production team are excited about the second part.
Actress Aanchal Sharma claims that ‘Jhingedau 2’ is richer in terms of entertainment, fun and message than the first part.
According to Aanchal, the first part has been liked by the audience and there is naturally pressure on the team in the second part. He said that although he was worried whether he could meet the expectations set by ‘Jhingedau’, he said that they feel that they will be successful.
Everything seems to be added to the comparison of ‘One’. I think the entertainment is double, the fun is double and the message is also double,” Aanchal says in an exclusive interview with Nepal News Bank.
For her, ‘Jhingedau’ is not just a film but an important turning point in her acting journey. She says that although she was not very familiar with director Gyanendra Deuja’s film background before working in the film, she joined the film after hearing the script and seeing the director’s passion for his work.
The special thing is that the character of the film is completely different from the role he had played before ‘Jhingedau’, so in the beginning he felt why he was chosen.
‘I was like, ‘Why did you choose me in this? It didn’t make sense.’ It’s a film that I don’t do,” she recalls.
But after researching about director Deuja’s dedication to work and his old films, Aanchal says that she has worked with the intention of learning something. She feels that the film that she did not expect has become one of the most memorable works of her life.
Changed feeling after six years
There is a gap of about six years between the first and second parts. Aanchal feels that this difference has affected not only the characters of the film but also the personal maturity of the actors.
‘After six years, I feel like I have been definitively changing into a character as well. I feel like I, Aanchal Sharma, have also grown up, I feel like I have learned more,” she says.
He believes that the maturity that has come in him over time has made it easier to understand and judge the character from different angles than before.
Tuning in with Keki made it easy Crazy scene
The fight scene between Aanchal and Keki Adhikari in ‘Jhingedau 2’ is also expected to catch the attention of the audience. Aanchal says that the good relationship between the two actresses has played an important role behind the intense scenes seen on screen.
‘Sister, I will haunt you, you tell me to do it like I am a ghost, then we used to tun in,’ she says.
She says that due to her friendship and mutual understanding with Keki, even difficult scenes are easy. She said that the scenes are prepared by consulting each other, which has helped to bring naturalness to the acting.
But the fight on the screen was not so easy. The scene of acting by climbing a tree scared her a lot. She remembers that she had never climbed such a tall tree and had to act on it, so she was afraid of an accident.

She also revealed that the scenes of the fight in the film also caused physical pain. She believes that even though she has hair pain, she will be happy to remember all those memories when the film does well.
There is some difference between Aanchal’s real-life nature and the character of the film.
She says that although she is outspoken, she does not do the kind of fights and fights that are shown on screen in real life.
But she admits that there is some awkwardness and aggression within the character. She said that the script, co-actors and especially Keki’s acting helped to bring it out.
According to him, the response and energy given by the co-actors is the most important basis for making acting lively.
‘Jhingedau 2’ is not just a story of quarrel
Aanchal’s opinion is different on the question of how relevant the relationship between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law is in today’s society.
According to him, the style of fighting may have changed over time, but family discord and relationship ups and downs still exist at various levels of society.
She says that Nepal is not only Kathmandu and there are different social realities in different geography and communities. According to him, the purpose of the film is not only to entertain, but also to give the audience an opportunity to self-evaluate.
‘We shouldn’t act like these daughters-in-law, we shouldn’t fight like these characters. I think it’s also an opportunity to learn that this is how we should take society, this is how we should take our households,’ she says.
Aanchal is not in favor of the traditional notion that daughters-in-law should be suppressed. For her, being a daughter-in-law is not about being limited to a certain social role, but fulfilling her responsibility in terms of humanity.
Aanchal says that the family atmosphere between the actors who worked in the first part is also continuous in the second part. In the first part, she felt that the relationship between her, Keki, Kushal and Maheshji was like a member of the family.
With the addition of a new cast in the second part, there was confusion in the beginning whether the relationship would be like the first part or not, but in the end, the film was completed in the same family atmosphere.
Shocking Expectations
For Aanchal, ‘Jhingedau 2’ is a film with a social message along with entertainment. He believes that the film has raised the issues of family, relationships, the role of daughter-in-law, the relationship between mother and son, and the changing social environment.
In particular, the children’s hatred towards their mother and the pain it causes will shake the audience emotionally.
Now she is waiting for her to meet the audience. Since the film will be released on September 2, she urges the audience to go to the hall and watch the movie.
‘There is a lot of entertainment. I want to say that the film will come to the hall and keep it tied up for three hours,’ said Aanchal.
She thanks the audience for the love given to the first part by the second part. For her, ‘Jhingedau 2’ is not only a film but also a confluence of characters, old teams, and new experiences after six years. In which friendship, struggle, family relationships and a familiar story of Nepali society are connected with acting.
