Two youths of Inaruwa die in motorcycle accident
Inaruwa. Two youths of Inaruwa-3 have died in a motorcycle accident in Itahari last night.
The deceased have been identified as Paras Thapa, 29, and Sagar Regmi, 34, of Inaruwa-3, according to the District Police Office, Sunsari. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Subash Hamal, chief of the Area Police Office, Itahari, said that the motorcycle was heading towards Inaruwa from Itahari when it overturned at the culvert at the border of Itahari Sub-metropolis-7 and 17. Both the injured were taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for treatment. Both of them were declared dead during treatment, police said. The deceased Sagar Regmi was a contractual employee at the District Administration Office, Sunsari. He was working as the personal secretary of the Chief District Officer of Sunsari. Another deceased Paras Thapa was also working in the District Administration Office, Sunsari on a contract basis until some time ago and had resigned some time ago. Further investigation into the incident is underway, said the Area Police Office, Itahari.
