Kathmandu. The speakers have said that it is wrong to publicize the religious leaders of Nepal as controversial. They have urged the religious leaders and Sanatan Dharma to stop creating unnecessary controversy.
Sagar Khadka, the presenter of the program, said that it was wrong to try to make Nepal’s religious leaders controversial by taking money from foreigners.
Advocate Balkrishna Neupane claimed that it is a crime to write or call a religious leader controversial. He said that Hinduism is the scientific religion of the world and those who make unnecessary comments against religious leaders can be liable to legal action.
Advocate Swagat Nepal said that all people cannot be separated from human religion and there is no provision to ban anyone in Nepal’s religion, scriptures and traditions. He said that the future of Nepal is linked to Vedic Sanatan Dharma.
Religious leader Swami Srinivas questioned the reason for which he was called controversial and what crime he had committed. He said that he does not have to be humiliated all the time for being acquitted by the court.
He warned the MPs not to forget their status and said that those doing politics should be accountable to the people. “There will be no situation for those who do politics to run away, they should improve,” he said.
Swami Srinivas also made it clear that he supported the Home Minister because he was dedicated to the service of the people. He said that the religious leaders participated in the Martyrs’ Day program organized to pray for the peace of the souls of the Jenji martyrs.
He said that they went to the event with the intention of bringing peace to the souls of the deceased of the Genji movement rather than seeking the contribution of the religious leaders. He said that they were invited to the program by the Genji family, not the government.
