Government burnt the country, without monarchy the nation cannot be protected: Durga Prasain
Kathmandu. Medical practitioner and coordinator of ‘Save the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizens Save Mega Campaign’ Durga Prasain has strongly criticized the working style of the incumbent government and accused the government of creating havoc in the country.
Organizing a press conference on Monday, Prasai made it clear that he was not interested in the politics of burning down other people’s houses or countries.
He said, “I do not want to do business like you. I do not want to burn the country, nor will I burn Singha Durbar. I do not want to burn someone else’s house. I wish you had made the people happy even after burning so much.” Expressing dissatisfaction over the current political situation of the country, he claimed that nationalism could not be preserved in Nepal without the role of the monarchy and the Shah dynasty. He refuted the propaganda that someone has been linking himself with any external force or organization. He said that due to the short-sighted policies of the present government and leadership, the country’s economy has been devastated and the youths are forced to go abroad.
Prasain said that although billions of rupees have been deposited in the banks, foreign and internal investment has not come due to lack of clear vision and environment of peace and security.
Commenting strongly on the contemporary political issues of the country, he said that the time has come for the people to find an alternative to the present rulers.
