Kathmandu. As of 8 am on Thursday, 1,455 bodies have been recovered due to the devastating floods in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa.
Of them, 236 were found in Rasuwa, 204 in Nuwakot, 73 in Dhading, 369 in Chitwan, 79 in Gorkha, 38 in Tanahun, 232 in Nawalparasi East and 222 in Nawalparasi West. Two of them died while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu. So far, 1,
334 bodies have been managed (preserved under the soil) by completing the necessary process from DNA sample collection to identify the bodies found. A total of 3,396 DNA samples, including 1,330 of the deceased and 2,066 of the relatives, have been collected for the identification of the bodies. The details of 1,421 unidentified bodies have also been uploaded on the website of the Nepal Police.

,975 police personnel have been mobilized for rescue, search, relief distribution, dead body management and other works in the flood-affected areas. So far, the search for 4,718 missing people is underway. Similarly, 1,234 people have been kept in holding centers in different districts.
