Kathmandu. Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said that Nepali Congress is a party born to establish rule of law and democratic values.
In his address to the inaugural session of the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress here today, leader Singh said the party leaders and cadres had suffered hardships in course of the struggle for democracy but had not stepped back to make sacrifices if necessary. He said, “It is a party born to establish the rule of law.
It is a party born to establish democratic values. The Nepali Congress has been established as a party that does not back down to sacrifice life if the party leaders and cadres have to suffer in the dervishes of struggle. He said that the Nepali Congress has been fighting for democratic values, values and rule of law since its inception. He said that the Nepali Congress was established in 2003 BS at the initiative of leaders including BP Koirala and Ganeshman Singh and after that the Nepali Congress was formed.
Singh said that the general convention has been held regularly to continue the values, values and traditions of the party established by the former leaders. He said that the leadership elected from the 14th general convention has organized the 15th general convention.
He said that an attempt was being made to create a narrative that attempts were being made to split the party regarding the party’s general convention and an attempt was being made to spread confusion.
