Kathmandu. It is suspected that Suman Sharma, the CEO of Prabhu Bank, who fled from Kathmandu to Birgunj after the arrest warrant was issued, made the setting so that he could not be arrested. Some sources suspect that Sharma, who has not been arrested so far even though the court had given permission for his arrest on September 2, may have reached Birgunj and made the setting.
In the loan dispute related to the then Sunrise Bank, the cases of cheating and criminal breach of trust were increased against Sharma and 4 others. However, he did not appear even when he was called for questioning.
The case was prosecuted after he failed to appear when he was called for statement, and the court then allowed Sharma to be arrested. Sharma, who had been waiting for a few days even after the arrest warrant was issued, escaped from the police by taking ‘force leave’ and escaped from the police.
Later, he sent a force leave email to the bank and proceeded with the process and went to Parsa. Meanwhile, Sharma, who was preparing to appear in the court on Monday, may have been given the opportunity to appear in the court without being under the control of the police before, sources suspect. Sharma has reached Parsa with himself, lawyers and friends.
