Online Industry Registration Service Launched in Madhesh Province
Janakpur. Online industry registration and renewal services have been formally started in Madhesh Province through the Industrial Management Information System (IMIS).
Inaugurating the online business registration service in Janakpurdham on Friday, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism Kanish Patel said that the compulsion of industrialists and entrepreneurs to visit their respective offices time and again has ended.
Minister Patel said that the system has been started from Madhes Province that the service recipients can operate industries by completing the necessary process for registration of industries online from home. He said that it is necessary to reach the general public to the issue of registering industries through online system.
Targeting the youths who want to go abroad for employment, Minister Patel urged them to invest the money spent on going abroad to set up small and medium enterprises in their own villages. He expressed confidence that with the launch of online services, the services will be easily available to industrialists and entrepreneurs.
Director General of the Department of Industry, Rhea Sah, said that small and medium enterprises can be registered online from all eight districts of Madhesh province. Director General Sah said that after filling the online form for industry registration, the necessary documents will also have to be uploaded online. On the basis of the details and documents received, the concerned office will proceed with the process. The service recipient will be informed about the registration process through contact or online. Saha said that if necessary in the final stage of registration, an arrangement has been made to provide the industry registration certificate from the concerned office.
She informed that preparations are also underway to appoint a contact person at the concerned office to address the problems and complaints of the service recipients. She said that arrangements will be made to inform the service recipients about the problems and difficulties related to online industry registration through the contact person.
