Here’s the price of vegetables and fruits today

Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has released the minimum wholesale price of agricultural produce for today (Monday).

According to the committee, the price of big Nepali tomato is Rs 60 per kg, Indian big tomato is Rs 70 per kg and small (tunnel) tomato is Rs 55 per kg. Potato red (lamcho) is being sold at Rs 55, red potato (round) at Rs 50 per kg, potato red (mude) at Rs 50, Indian red potato at Rs 50 and white potato at Rs 35 per kg. Indian dried onion is being sold at Rs 85, local carrot at Rs 110 and Terai carrot at Rs 80. Similarly, Banda (

local) is priced at Rs 45, local cauliflower at Rs 110, red radish at Rs 30, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 50, lamcho brinjal at Rs 50, Dalo brinjal at Rs 70, stem beans at Rs 120, maize beans at Rs 100, ghee beans (local) at Rs 90 per kg and ghee beans (Hybrid) at Rs 90 per kg.

Similarly, beans are being traded at Rs 70, soybeans at Rs 120, bitter gourd at Rs 110 and bottle gourd at Rs 90. Mustard greens have been fixed at Rs 150, spinach at Rs 150, mustard greens at Rs 80 and green onions at Rs 250. Girls mushroom is priced at Rs 240, Dalle mushroom at Rs 450, king mushroom at Rs 300, Sitake mushroom at Rs 800, Kurilo at Rs 700, Nuro at Rs 90, broccoli at Rs 250, beetroot at Rs 60, Celery at Rs 400, mint at Rs 600 and gante radish at Rs 100. Similarly, the committee has fixed apple (Fuji) at Rs 300 per kg, apple (mustang) at Rs 200 per kg, banana (Nepali) at Rs 150 per dozen, banana (Malbhog) at Rs 100 per dozen, lemon at Rs 200 per kg, pomegranate at Rs 300 per kg and watermelon (green) at Rs 60 per kg.
