Kathmandu. Nepali Congress youth leader Lekhraj Joshi has announced his candidacy for the post of central member of the party. Joshi has announced his candidacy with the campaign ‘Congress that fits all’.
Joshi, who came out of student politics, has announced his candidacy with a blueprint to make the party organization stronger, dynamic and generation-oriented.
‘I will work keeping youth participation, good governance, internal democracy and overall prosperity at the center of politics. The youth of today should be connected with entrepreneurship and should be accustomed to new technology. Our education and political culture should also be in accordance with this. I am a candidate for the central committee with the intention of carrying the sentiments and voice of the entire youth in the party,” Joshi said.
He expressed the belief that the party delegates would give him more energy by making him victorious this time as he has been continuously active in the issues of party organisation, social transformation, educational awareness and people’s livelihood in Kailali and Kanchanpur for long. According to him, the presence of youths at the policy level is indispensable to take the NC ahead as per the needs of the new era and new generation and not just to win elections.
He pledged to bring the problems of cadres and citizens to the center of the party’s policy-making. He also stressed on making the party’s membership distribution and information system completely digital and transparent, linking youths to entrepreneurship, technology and leadership development.
