Kathmandu. In the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress, food arrangements have been made for about nine thousand people.
Coordinator of the food management committee, Tilak Ranabhat, said that arrangements have been made for food for the delegates, observers, volunteers and others participating in the general convention from 19th to 22nd.
He said that he is in a managerial role on how to conduct the convention. “We have made arrangements for food from the 19th to the 22nd. This includes breakfast, lunch, tea and cookies from 2 pm to 5 pm and dinner from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We have to go to Bhrikutimandap for food,” he said.
According to Ranabhat, there are about 7,800 delegates in the convention. He said that there is a need to manage about 8,500 to 9,000 people by adding observers, volunteers and others.
According to him, various dishes are kept in the breakfast. Breakfast includes egg, fruits, bread.
He said that veg and non-veg dishes have been included in the lunch. “We have separated veg and non-veg.
We have fixed chicken and goat in the morning. In the evening, we have a simple meal,” he said.
He said that the fund has been managed from internal sources for the management of food. “We have managed the fund from our internal sources, entry fees and friends of the party,” he said. According to him, this time the party will only facilitate without providing accommodation. “Earlier, the party used to provide accommodation, but now we have only facilitated the accommodation,” he said.
