Jagadishwor Narsingh KC, who is contesting for the post of joint general secretary in the Khas-Arya constituency, has said that he will make the Congress strong by purifying it. Nepali Congress leader Jagadishwor Narsingh KC has filed his candidacy for the post of joint general secretary from the Khas-Arya party in the 15th general convention.

Announcing his candidacy, KC said that his main objective is to purify and strengthen the party by ending the anomalies, anomalies, irregularities and arbitrariness in the party. He said that he has been putting forth a clear view against the weaknesses and wrong decisions of the party leadership for a long time.

KC said, “I have been working in the Nepali Congress party for a long time. I have been in favor of the multi-party party since the election contest between the multi-party and independents in 2036 BS. I spent my first time in jail during the Satyagraha of 1992. At that time, I was not more than 18-20 years old. He said that he was also the person who showed the Nepali Congress flag for the first time during the 1990 people’s movement while taking out a rally of the Congress at New Road. He also recalled that he had led the movement in the Gongabu area on behalf of the Congress during the people’s movement of 2062/63.

KC said that he has been clearly questioning the party leadership if there are anomalies and anomalies in the party.

“I have been clearly expressing my views on the distortions, anomalies, irregularities, arbitrariness and shortcomings and mistakes of the leadership within the party. I have always felt that the party should be strengthened and purified, not for the post,” he said.

He opined that the Congress should be established as a parent party in the coming days. He said that he was committed to strengthen the party organization and move forward according to the 21st century with new ideas and new methods.

KC said that he has received positive feedback from the delegates of the general convention for his candidacy. KC said that the cadres should not remain silent when the leadership makes mistakes and said that he is not a slave or an opportunist.

KC said that the weaknesses of the party leadership will be clearly raised in the central committee and pressure will be pressed for reforms. He also pledged not to allow injustice to be done to the Congress workers across the country.

Stressing the need to move the NC ahead with new ideology and new style, he said that he has filed his candidacy to give completion to the issues he has been raising in the party.
