Bolero jeep buried in Mugu
Mugu. A Bolero jeep was buried near Sunata River in Chhayanath Rara Municipality-12 of Mugu district. According to the police, a Bolero jeep (L. P. 00101 Cha 1211) was returning from Gamgadhi to Sunata at around 10:30 am on Thursday. The jeep was being driven by Bishal Khatri.
After the landslide, a police team under the command of Assistant Sub Inspector Prakash Bahadur Singh from Temporary Police Post Rowa was mobilized towards the incident site.
A team reached the incident site at 1:20 pm to take stock of the situation, police said.
According to the police, no one was in the jeep at the time of the landslide. Timely precaution was taken to prevent human casualties. Police said efforts are being made to retrieve the jeep buried by the landslide. The incident site is about two hours south of the temporary police post Rowa. Further details about the incident are awaited, police said.
