Biratnagar. The Koshi Province government has given the responsibility of administrative leadership of the Ministry of Social Development to Ram Krishna Adhikari, Secretary at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.
A meeting of the Province Council of Ministers held on Thursday has assigned additional responsibility to Adhikari to look after the Ministry of Social Development until further arrangements. According to the state government, Adhikari has been given additional responsibility to facilitate the regular administrative work of the ministry. The meeting also decided to submit the annual report of the Provincial Planning Commission to the Provincial Assembly. The meeting also decided to waive immovable properties of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat destroyed during the agitation in accordance with the State Economic Procedures and Financial Accountability Act, 2078 BS. The meeting of the Council of Ministers has given approval in principle for the formulation of a bill related to the rights of persons with disabilities in Koshi Province. The meeting also decided to approve temporary positions for the bodies under the Ministry of Health.
