Collaboration between government and private sector essential to make country’s economy dynamic, production-oriented and competitive: President Poudel

: President Ram Chandra Poudel has said that building a prosperous Nepal would not be possible only through the efforts of the government or any one sector but only through the common national determination of the state, private sector and the entire society.

President Poudel said he expected the private sector to be more responsible, creative and play a leading role in translating the dream of building a prosperous Nepal into practice. He said, “I highly appreciate the contribution of the private sector in the economic prosperity of Nepal and wish you continued success and progress.”

He stressed the need for collaboration between the government and private sector to make Nepal’s economy dynamic, production-oriented and competitive.

President Poudel said, “The organizational expansion of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and the progress of more than 14 lakh businessmen associated with the FNCCI is the progress of the entire country. Its role in economic development, job creation and improvement of the living standard of the citizens is incomparable. The government should create policy stability, security of investment, security of investment, infrastructure development, smooth administration and business-friendly environment, while the private sector should further expand investment, production, entrepreneurship, innovation and job creation. I believe that trust and cooperation between these two sides can build a strong foundation for economic prosperity.

Stating that the next priority should be to focus on production growth, export promotion, attracting domestic and foreign investment, creating employment opportunities and enhancing the competitive capacity of the Nepali economy, he said, “It is necessary to utilize the potential available in hydropower, tourism, agriculture and agro-based industries, information technology and manufacturing sectors in a result-oriented manner. It is our common responsibility to create opportunities and possibilities of entrepreneurship especially for the youth of the country in the country.” President Poudel expressed the belief that the FNCCI would play a leading role in taking Nepali products, services and enterprises to the world market by connecting its national network with the international economic network in the present era of digital transformation and global competition.

Stating that Nepal was facing a big natural disaster recently, he lauded the FNCCI’s promptness, cooperation, cooperation and cooperation in the rescue operation during the disaster.
