Floods in Budhigandaki flood also submerge the religious site Nrusingham

Dhading. The flood has caused damage to the famous religious tourist site Narsingh Dham in Dhading.

The flood in the Budhigandaki river has entered the Dham area after the Netravati river was blocked. All the havan kunds built for the Yagya in May were damaged.

Three of the havan kunds at Narasimhadham, the confluence of the Budhigandaki and Netravati rivers, were washed away and four were damaged irreparably. Srivas Krishna Das Brahmachari informed. According to Brahmachari, there were 29 havan kunds.

This place is located at the foot of Tripurasundari Rural Municipality-1, Salyantar, Dhading. In the Purushottam Maha Mahotsav held in May last year, 33 lakh devotees, including citizens of seven countries, had paid obeisance. Donations of Rs 4.44 crore were collected.

Due to the erosion of the floods, a landslide has occurred near the ashram where the students study. The ashram is also at risk due to the landslide.
