According to Section 6 of the Passport Act, 2019, only the designated officials can go to special government programs or special work as per Section 6 of the Passport Act. ’

However, he said that many lawmakers have to travel abroad for various programs and it is difficult to provide passport in an easy manner as per the current legal system. She said that the Speaker has called for a discussion to collect suggestions from whips and chief whips of various political parties on how to facilitate the lawmakers in the coming days on this issue.

“But since many honorable people have to go on foreign trips for various programs, it is not appropriate to do so now as per the Act and Regulations, but consultations have been invited on how to facilitate the honorable people in the coming days,” she said. ’
