Kathmandu. Bhishma Raj Angdembe, leader of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC), has said that it is unfortunate that the government has to search for it on social media. Speaking in the special hour of the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said that they did not find it pleasant to have to search for the government on social media, saying democracy in the parliament and its open debate style was not conducive to them.
“The insensitive style that is not heard is not in favour of democracy and its open debate style in the parliament. The misfortune of finding the government on social media is not so pleasant for us. The Congress is also not a supporter of the style of talking big but not giving results through action. It is the primary duty of a democratic government and leader to have an open debate with the people. Democracy is not a closed-door rule. It’s an open and simple process. ’
Accusing the government of only presenting a populist manifesto, he said that the government was not serious about its responsibilities.
