Kathmandu. Harka Sampang, a member of the Labour and Culture Party, demanded the presence of the Prime Minister and urged the Speaker to expel him from the House of Representatives. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Sampang said that the Prime Minister’s presence has been demanded for a long time.

He demanded the Speaker to make the Prime Minister accountable by presenting the Prime Minister in the House as per Rule 15 (2) of the Regulation. Sampang asked the Speaker to use Rule 31 (1) of the Rules to order his expulsion from the House if he could not bring the Prime Minister to the House.

“We have been demanding the presence of the Prime Minister for a long time. According to Rule 15 (2), the Speaker has not been able to bring him by ruling. Therefore, I demand in today’s House that if you cannot bring the Prime Minister accountable in accordance with 2 of 15, then I request you to increase the dignity of this House by expelling me from this House by implementing Regulation 31 of 1. ’

Commenting that he has started appearing like a ‘mischievous student’ in the assembly, he said that the dignity of the House cannot be maintained in this way. Stating that he understands the compulsion of the Speaker, he said the presence of the Prime Minister was necessary.

He said, “Either the Prime Minister should be brought in by using 2 of 15 or 1 of 31 should be used to order to expel me from today’s meeting.” I’m not going to get angry or shout today. I understand the compulsion here. There is a compulsion here, but the dignity of this House cannot be maintained in this way. I also look like a bit of a bad student in Parliament. ’
