Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has strongly condemned the arrest of its vice-chair Bishnu Poudel. A meeting of the party’s parliamentary party held on Tuesday strongly condemned his arrest and decided to demand his immediate release, said party whip Ain Mahar.
“The UML parliamentary party has strongly condemned the arrest of Bishnu Poudel and demanded his immediate release. ’
According to him, the meeting concluded that the government was following the path of dictatorship and autocratic authoritarianism and was against the rule of law and rule of law.
“The government is on a dictatorial and autocratic path. This move is completely authoritarian and against the rule of law and the rule of law,” he added.
Police arrested Poudel from Birendranagar of Surkhet acting on a letter from the Department of Money Laundering Investigation.
