Kathmandu. CPN-UML lawmaker Rajendra Kumar Rai has made an objectionable statement against the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Addressing the meeting, lawmaker Rai asked, “I want to make a request to the Speaker, do you listen to me or not?”
Objecting to his remarks, the Speaker urged the parliament to maintain decorum. The Speaker directed the Speaker not to make statements in a way that would demean the House and the Speaker and asked them to put their views within the decorum.
The Speaker urged MP Rai to use dignified language and then refused to allow him to proceed with his statement.
