Four parliamentary committees meet
Kathmandu. A meeting of four parliamentary committees of the House of Representatives is taking place today.
The meeting of the Finance Committee, Women and Social Affairs Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee and State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will be held today. The Finance Committee will meet at 11:00 am.
The sub-committees will present the report and discuss the agenda in the meeting.
The meeting of the Women and Social Affairs Committee to be held at 11:00 am will discuss with the office-bearers of the Muslim Commission regarding the work and progress of the Commission.
Similarly, a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee scheduled for 10:00 am will discuss the current situation of the Ministry of Health and Food and Hygiene, current issues, challenges and future action plan. The meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will be held at 1 pm.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss the theoretical issues on the ‘National Service Dal Bill-2083’ and presenting the on-site monitoring report of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority and prison offices.
