Kathmandu. From now on, e-SIM can be purchased online. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of Nepal has started providing e-SIM services online from now onward.
According to the notice made public by the Ministry, customers can now apply for Nepal Telecom’s eSIM online from home. In addition, an online application for a new physical SIM card can be obtained from the nearest telecom service center.
This arrangement is expected to make the service easy and fast by freeing the service recipients from the hassle of standing in line. In particular, it is seen as a step towards expanding digital services and technology-friendly services.
According to the Ministry, after the implementation of this system, customers will be able to save time and cost and the service delivery will also be more effective.
