Seven parliamentary committees meeting
Kathmandu. A meeting of seven parliamentary committees is taking place today.
The meeting of the Finance Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Women and Social Affairs, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, Public Accounts Committee, Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee and Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee will be held on Wednesday.
The meeting of the Finance Committee to be held at 11:00 am today will discuss the works of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission, the role of the Commission in the implementation of fiscal federalism and the status of implementation of the recommendations. The meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee is scheduled for 10:00 am.
The meeting is scheduled to present the report of the sub-committee on the human rights situation of detainees and detainees in various jails and detainees.
The meeting of the Women and Social Affairs Committee will be held at 11:00 am.
The meeting will discuss the institutional status of children’s homes, child correction homes, women safe shelters and old-age homes and conclusions of monitoring.
A meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is scheduled to discuss the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081 BS’ today while the Public Accounts Committee meeting scheduled for 1:00 pm today will discuss the complaints related to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The meeting of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee will discuss the status of implementation of the decisions and agreements reached in the past COP and Nepal’s preparations for the upcoming COP 31.
Similarly, a meeting of the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee is scheduled for 10:00 am.
