.The 10th National Games is scheduled to be held in Surkhet from December 1 to 29, 2083.
The 125th board meeting of the National Sports Council (NSC) has decided to organize the 10th National Games in Surkhet on Thursday. The meeting presided over by National Sports Council (NSC) Chairman and Education and Sports Minister Sasmit Pokharel also decided to organize the first National Para Games from December 30.
The meeting also endorsed the names of Nepali athletes and officials participating in the 20th Asian Games.
Addressing the meeting, Minister Pokharel urged all sides to unite and prepare to make the tenth National Games grand and successful.
Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Sports Chudamani Poudel, NSC vice-president Bishal Shrestha, member secretaries of the Province Sports Council and board members of the Council were present in the meeting.
NSC member-secretary Ramcharitra Mehta presented various issues in the meeting.
