Traffic police took action against 991 people in 24 hours
Kathmandu.In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 991 vehicles.
During the checks conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Friday morning, action was taken against 09 drivers for drunken driving, 65 drivers through CCTV and 47 for using red beacons.
Similarly, 144 drivers were penalized for speeding, 34 for not wearing horns, 45 for lane crossing, 41 for unruly conditions, 09 for one-way traffic and 597 for others.
