Traffic police take action against 771 people in 24 hours
Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against 771 drivers of vehicles.
Eight drivers were arrested for drunken driving, 56 through CCTV and 63 for using red beacon during the checks conducted by the Traffic Police in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley till Tuesday morning. Similarly, 111 drivers were taken for speeding, 26 for not wearing horn, 41 for lane crossing, 23 for not being in good condition, 11 for one-way and 432 for others, according to the Traffic Police.
