Kathmandu. City Express Group has donated Rs 1.11 crore to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the flood and disaster victims. The group has donated the amount to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people in Bhotekoshi.
According to the City Express Group, the amount has been made to provide relief to the people affected by the natural disasters in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun, Chitwan and other districts.
The company has decided to waive the service charge that is levied while sending money to Nepal from different countries of the world so that the Nepalese living abroad can send money quickly, easily and with full amount to their families in the difficult time of disaster.
Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and expressing deep condolences to the bereaved families, the government has also expressed gratitude to the security personnel, volunteers, local communities and concerned bodies who have been working round the clock in rescue, relief and rehabilitation at this sensitive time.
