Here is the price of vegetables and fruits today
Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has released the minimum wholesale price of agricultural products for today (Wednesday).
According to the committee, the price of big Nepali tomato is Rs 70 per kg, Indian big tomato is Rs 70 per kg and small tunnel tomato is Rs 30 per kg. Potato red (lamcho) is being sold at Rs 48, red potato (round) at Rs 48 per kg, potato red (mude) at Rs 48, Indian red potato at Rs 38 and white potato at Rs 35 per kg. Indian dried onion is being sold at Rs 93, local carrot at Rs 80 and Terai carrot at Rs 70. Similarly, the price of cabbage (local) is Rs 25, local cauliflower Rs 90, red radish Rs 20, white radish (hybrid) Rs 25, lamcho brinjal Rs 10, Dalo brinjal Rs 30, stem beans Rs 40, maize beans Rs 90 per kg and ghee beans (local and hybrid) Rs 70 per kg. Similarly, beans are being sold at Rs 70, soybeans at Rs 120, bitter gourd at Rs 30, gourd at Rs 40, parwar (local) at Rs 60, ghiraula at Rs 10, ripe beans at Rs 50, green beans (dallo) at Rs 30 and okra at Rs 30. Mustard greens are priced at Rs 40, spinach at Rs 100, mustard greens at Rs 80 and green onion at Rs 100. Girls mushroom is priced at Rs 200, Dalle mushroom Rs 450, king mushroom Rs 300, Sitake mushroom Rs 800, Kurilo Rs 400, Nuro Rs 90, broccoli Rs 100, beetroot Rs 60, Celery Rs 400, mint Rs 600 and gante radish Rs 100. Similarly, the committee has fixed apple (Fuji) at Rs 350 per kg, banana (Nepali) at Rs 250 per dozen, banana (Malbhog) at Rs 180 per dozen, lemon at Rs 350 per kg, pomegranate at Rs 250 per kg and watermelon (green) at Rs 50.
