Kathmandu. The trailer of the Nepali movie ‘Behuli’ has been released. The official trailer of the movie has been released amidst a special program held at Jai Nepal Hall in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Arjun Pokharel, producer and presenter of the movie, announced that he would donate five percent of the income earned by the producers from the release of the movie to the flood victims. Stating that the film industry has also provided personal support to the flood victims, he said that he would contribute five percent of the amount that comes to him after the release of the movie, whether it is profit or loss.
He said that more than three and a half crore rupees have been spent on the production of the film and the publicity work is still pending. He said that although it is a different matter whether the film will raise its investment or not, it has been decided to allocate a certain portion of the income for the victims under social responsibility.
He said, “Even after making the film, the whole team consulted about what to do next. After the film is released, after the film is released, the distributor and the hall will cut the percentage of the producer’s share, we are helping the flood victims with 5 percent. Even if we get one lakh or 20 crores, we will give 5 percent of it. This does not mean that we give only when we have a profit. We give even when there is a loss, we give even when there is a profit. ‘
Similarly, actress Divya Rayamajhi expressed her condolences to the bereaved families while paying tribute to those who lost their lives in floods and landslides. She said that the current situation is very difficult for all Nepalis and it is not easy for them to take the decision to release the film in such a situation.
She said that instead of forgetting the sorrow, one should accept it and move forward slowly in life.
At the trailer launch event, Rayamajhi expressed her happiness for being a part of the film, saying that it was the first time that she had seen the trailer. She urged the audience to love and support the film.
Similarly, actor Paras Bam Thakuri also paid tribute to all those who lost their lives in the disaster and said that the film is being released amidst difficult circumstances. He apologized to the audience saying that there were some problems due to technical reasons in the trailer release program. He said that it was necessary to keep the film industry running even when the country was in mourning.
He said that if the film is stopped, it will affect the employment of artists, technicians and many people associated with it. He said that it is not right to put pressure to stop only Nepali films when foreign films are being screened.
Directed by Sashan Kandel and written by Madhav Sharma, the movie features Paras, Dibya, Sushant, Padam and Santosh, along with Sarita Giri, Bishal Pahari, Karma Lama, Deepak Gauli, Bimal Yadav, Abiral Shrestha, Sabin Kattel and Samaira Thapa Magar.
The trailer shows the love between actor Paras Bam Thakuri and actress Divya Rayamajhi. The movie ‘Bheli’ is slated to release on September 26.
