Taplejung. 80 automatic (sensor) solar lights have been installed on the footpath leading to the famous pilgrimage site Pathibhara. These lamps received courtesy of the donors have been installed on the footpath from the entrance of the upper foothill to the temple. <\/p>\n
Saroj Lama and Nawal Kishor Mishra, who run a solar company in Siliguri, India, provided the lamps free of cost to the Pathivara Area Development Committee.<\/p>\n
When they saw that the pilgrims were facing problems due to darkness on the trekking route when they came for darshan in winter, they had promised to provide the lights. As per this promise, the committee got the lights and completed the connection. <\/p>\n
Rajendra Mahat, an employee of the Pathivara Area Development Committee, said that the installed lights will automatically light up in the evening and turn off on their own after dawn in the morning. According to him, with the installation of the lights, it will be very easy for the devotees traveling at night and in the morning. Located at an altitude of 3,794 meters above sea level, Pathivara Dham is visited by a large number of devotees from Nepal, India and other countries every year.<\/p>\n
According to the committee, the arrangement of lights on the trekking route will be a big relief especially during the upcoming Dashain Navratri as the number of visitors is high. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
