Inaruwa. The Nepali Muslim Society has provided more than Rs 62 lakh for the relief and reconstruction of the flood-affected families of Rasuwa and other areas affected by the floods in Bhotekoshi. <\/p>\n
Muslim Society Sunsari handed over Rs 6,<\/p>\n
245,049 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund through the District Administration Office, Sunsari, said Haroon Ansari, a leader of the Muslim Society. <\/p>\n
Naeem Ansari of the Muslim Society said that the amount collected voluntarily from various Muslim settlements, madrasas, mosques, NGOs, private schools, business organizations and individual levels was handed over to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund through Chief District Officer Ishwori Prasad Aryal. A delegation of the Nepali Muslim Society, Sunsari handed over the documents including bank vouchers and details of the donors to Chief District Officer Aryal. Appreciating the campaign launched by the Muslim Society and the solidarity shown by them, Chief District Officer Aryal said that the assistance received would contribute significantly in the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the people of flood-affected areas. Koshi Province lawmaker Israel Mansuri, Harinagar Rural Municipality Chairman Ghaffar Ansari, Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality Chairman Ajmal Akhtar Azad, Maulana Haroon Khan, Mehdi Hussain and other Muslim community leaders were present on the occasion. <\/p>\n
