Kathmandu. Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited has proposed to distribute 5 percent bonus shares to its shareholders and 0.263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. <\/p>\n
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on September 12 has proposed to distribute the dividend from the profit and accumulation of the financial year 2082\u00f783. According to the company, the current paid-up capital of Rs 4 billion will be distributed to 5 percent of the bonus shares amounting to Rs 202 million 20 lakh 20 thousand 157 50. <\/p>\n
Likewise, the government has proposed to distribute a cash dividend of 0.263 percent of the paid-up capital of the company for tax purposes on bonus shares. <\/p>\n
Accordingly, the company will distribute a total dividend of Rs 21,26,52,478.39 to the shareholders. The proposed dividend will be distributed only after approval by the company’s 29th Annual General Meeting. The company has called the AGM on October 12. <\/p>\n
The company has decided to close the book on September 28 for the purpose of general meeting and dividend distribution.
