Suman Sharma, CEO of Prabhu Bank, has been suspended. Sharma has been suspended after a criminal case was filed in connection with the case of auctioning the mortgage even after approving the loan while he was at the then Sunrise Bank. <\/p>\n<p>A case of cheating and criminal breach of trust has been filed against Sharma. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Employees Bylaws of Prabhu Bank, approved by the Nepal Rastra Bank, employees are automatically suspended if a criminal case is filed. According to this provision, Sharma has been suspended. Meanwhile, a former official of the Rastra Bank is also lobbying to protect Sharma. <\/p>\n<p>The aggrieved party had approached the police against the bank for not approving the loan but auctioning the collateral.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
