Karnali Province Chief Minister Mangal Bahadur Shahi has made his property details public after 63 days of assuming office. <\/p>\n According to the public details, the family of Chief Minister Shahi has real estate, gold, silver, bank deposits, vehicles and other properties in Mugu. The details mention most of the land and some houses as ancestral property. <\/p>\n More than <\/p>\n 22 plots of land in the name of his mother <\/p>\n The house is in the name of Chief Minister Shahi’s mother Aisha Shahi in Soru Rural Municipality-6 of Mugu spread over 2,943.50 square meters. <\/p>\n The source of the house has been mentioned as ancestral property. Similarly, his daughter Usmita Shahi has a house of 56.25 square meters area in the erstwhile Srinagar VDC-4. It is mentioned in the details that the house was obtained from the box deed. <\/p>\n Chief Minister Shahi owns 402 square meters of land in the erstwhile Jima VDC-9 and his wife Narayan Devi Shahi owns 424 square meters of land in the erstwhile Srinagar VDC-4. The land was purchased for Rs 2 million and the source of the land is income from the business. <\/p>\n Similarly, his mother owns more than 22 plots of land in different wards of the erstwhile Jima. The source of all these lands is said to be ancestral property. <\/p>\n 10 tola gold and 10 tola silver <\/p>\n Chief Minister Shahi has made public the details of 10 tola gold and 10 tola silver in his name. He mentioned that four tolas of gold are ancestral property. According to the details, he bought two tolas of gold for Rs 50,000 from the salary of a teacher. <\/p>\n Similarly, in 2075 BS, he bought one tola of gold for Rs 40,000, in 2080 BS he bought one tola gold for Rs 90,000 and in 2081 BS he bought two tolas of gold for Rs 240,000 from his remuneration. <\/p>\n He has two lakh rupees in his bank account and the source of it is government facilities. Chief Minister Shahi does not have shares, debentures or other securities of any company in his name. <\/p>\n Chief Minister Shahi has taken a loan of Rs 1.8 <\/p>\n million from the Mugu branch of Agriculture Development Bank on July 11, 2022 and has paid some amount so far. <\/p>\n On the vehicle side, a Suzuki scooter was purchased in the name of his daughter Usmita Shahi in 2075 BS for Rs 2.35 lakh. However, his family does not own a four-wheeler or private vehicle, according to the details. <\/p>\n In terms of livestock, Chief Minister Shahi has seven cows and oxen.
