The parliamentary party leader of the main opposition party, Nepali Congress, Bhishma Raj Angdembe, met Prime Minister Balendra Shah today. <\/p>\n<p> The meeting held on Monday discussed the issues of rehabilitation of flood and disaster-affected areas of Rasuwa, relief, legal complexities, development construction and Prime Minister&#8217;s presence in the parliament, according to Angdembe. He said, &#8220;During the meeting, we discussed the rehabilitation, relief and rescue of the areas affected by floods and disasters in Rasuwa. We also drew the attention of the government to construct infrastructures including bailey bridges in various wards that have been cut off from the highway, to arrange necessary budget for the same and to move ahead by resolving legal complications if any. <\/p>\n<p> Also, I have requested the Prime Minister to be present in the parliament after understanding the seriousness of the issues raised in the parliament. He said that various wards of Gosainkunda and Amachhodingmo rural municipalities of Rasuwa have been cut off from the highway. He said that the Prime Minister has been informed about the construction of bailey bridges and other necessary infrastructure in these areas. <\/p>\n<p> Angdembe said that the discussion was also held on removing the legal and procedural hurdles related to various ministries and presenting the necessary plan and arranging the budget. He said that he also raised the issue of Prime Minister Shah&#8217;s presence in the parliament during the meeting. He said that he had requested to inform the parliament about the issues raised before attending the United Nations General Assembly, but due to lack of time, the meeting could not take place at that time. Angdembe said that after returning from the UNGA, he stressed that the Prime Minister should be present in the parliament and take information about the seriousness of the issues raised by the lawmakers and put the government&#8217;s views in the parliament. He said that the Prime Minister&#8217;s presence in the parliament would help internationalize the issues raised and further strengthen it diplomatically. He also said that issues related to communication and regional cooperation were also discussed. Angdembe said that he suggested that the Prime Minister should not limit the trilateral cooperation and move forward by expanding the reach to all the countries related to the Hindu Kush Himalaya region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
