Kathmandu. The amended statute of the Nepali Congress has been passed. The closed session of the 15th General Convention at Khula Manch on the second day passed the amended statute presented by General Secretary Pradeep Poudel. <\/p>\n
According to the new statute, the central working committee will have 297 members. There will be one president, one senior vice-president and four vice-presidents. One woman will be mandatory for the post of vice-president. Similarly, there will be 3 general secretaries. In which one woman will be mandatory. Similarly, there will be 15 members in the joint general secretary. The treasurer will be one of the central members. There will be one spokesperson and there will also be a joint spokesperson. There will be 45 members in the open category. There will be 15 women in the open category. There will be four members including one woman from each province. <\/p>\n
Also, two people including one woman from the valley have been made mandatory. Similarly, there will be 14 Dalits, including five women and one Madhesi. <\/p>\n
There will be 20 including 8 women in the indigenous category, while there will be 18 including 8 women in the Khas Aryabart. <\/p>\n
There will be 13 members including five women from the Madhesi side. Similarly, there will be 7 members including 2 women from the Jan Samiti. There will be 3 members from the backward class. <\/p>\n
There are 6 including 2 women from Tharu. There are 3 including 1 woman from laborers, 7 including 2 women from professional experts. <\/p>\n
There will also be 21 youths below 3 <\/p>\n
5 years of age from all seven provinces. Similarly, there will be one from the disabled and three from the freedom fighters. The central working committee will later nominate 66 members. <\/p>\n
Although the statute was passed on Monday, the report of the president, vice-president and treasurer will be passed only in the closed session on Tuesday. The statute was passed on Monday itself as the nomination of candidates will start from 10 am on Tuesday. <\/p>\n
