Kathmandu. Suman Sharma, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prabhu Bank, has been released on a bail of Rs 2 lakh. A single bench of Parsa District Court Judge Gayatri Prasad Regmi ordered the release of Sharma on a bail of Rs 2 lakh. <\/p>\n
A case of fraud and breach of trust was filed against Sharma in the Parsa District Court on charges of loan misappropriation and breach of trust. When he was the CEO of the then Sunrise Bank, he was booked for cheating and breach of trust in the case of not approving the loan to Anjali International and auctioning the collateral. <\/p>\n
After an arrest warrant was issued against Sharma, he fled. After the police confirmed that he would be caught, he fled from Kathmandu to Parsa. After hiding for a few days, he appeared before the court. After the detention hearing, the court ordered his release on bail of Rs 2 lakh. <\/p>\n
With this, he will now be able to fight the case from outside. However, he will remain suspended until the case is finalized. He is preparing to return to the bank after being released on bail.
