Kathmandu. 95 people affected by the floods in the Budhigandaki River in Gorkha have been rescued. The Nepal Army has rescued 95 people by 7 pm on Sunday with the help of four helicopters and land forces, including MI-17. <\/p>\n
According to the details made public by the Nepal Army, 17 people were rescued from Jagat, 22 from Yaru, 13 from Thulodhunga, three from Dobhan, two from Film, 17 from Nakphedi, 12 from Payun, three from Namrung, three from Deng and three from Dhauli. According to the NA, 35 people including nine foreign nationals have been brought to Kathmandu from Arughat. Search and rescue operations are underway in coordination with other security agencies and concerned stakeholders in the flood-affected areas. Meanwhile, an engineering team of Nepal Army has been mobilized to prepare to install a bailey bridge on the motorable bridge linking Arughat-Dhading. <\/p>\n
Preparations have been made to restore the bridge to facilitate rescue and relief operations after the flood-affected areas were disrupted. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
