Syangja. Six people were killed when a Scorpio jeep they were travelling in met with an accident at Arbeni of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-2 in Gulmi district. One of the injured is undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital in Pokhara and two are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College in Palpa. The health condition of the injured is gradually improving, according to the hospital.<\/p>\n Among those who died in the accident were prominent politicians, successful businessmen and social activists of Waling. The children of those who died in the accident a week ago were abroad and the cremation could not be done immediately. Their bodies were kept in the mortuary of Waling Hospital waiting for their children. <\/p>\n All of them were cremated only after the children returned from abroad. The deceased have been identified as Dilip Kumar Bagale and his wife Neeta Bagale, former deputy chief of Syangja District Coordination Committee and senior vice-president of Syangja Contractors’ Association, Shiva Parajuli, proprietor of Hotel Venus in Waling, Loknath Pandey, businessman of Waling-10 and Kulananda Pandey and Sita Pandey of Kaligandaki-1, Gulmi. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Waling drowned in grief Om Prakash Sharma, Nepal News Bank Syangja.
