There is also a religious belief that if you do not worship the crow on this day and do not eat it, it will be a sin. <\/p>\n On the occasion of Crow Tihar, it is customary to invite crows to the courtyard early in the morning and give them food. Sweet dishes prepared at home are offered to the crow and worshipped. <\/p>\n According to religious beliefs, the crow is considered as a bird that carries ominous messages, but it has special significance as the messenger of Yamaraj. In the scriptures, it is mentioned that Yamaraj, the lord of the hell world, will keep the details of the birth and death of all living beings, including the people of the earth. <\/p>\n There is a religious belief that the crow got the responsibility of exchanging such information.
