Kathmandu. Today is Mata Tirtha Aunsi, the day of mother’s face. Every year, on the day of Baisakh Krishna Aunsi, the festival is celebrated by offering sweet food to the mother with reverence and devotion. <\/p>\n
It is customary for children to wake up early in the morning, take a bath and bless their mother by wearing nice clothes and eating sweet and fresh food. Those who do not have a mother remember the departed mother and her great and difficult deeds by offering tarpan and pinda to the mother and feeding the priest with sidadaan. <\/p>\n
