Kathmandu. Central Chairman of Labour and Culture Party and member of the House of Representatives from Sunsari constituency-1, Harka Raj Rai (Sampang), said he was always in favour of preventing people from becoming homeless. He made it clear that he was always in favour of addressing the problems of unsystematic settlements and landless squatters in Nepal. <\/p>\n
Addressing a brief discussion programme with the communities of landless squatters and unsystematic settlers of Thanabharyang in Hetauda-11 of Makwanpur district on Saturday, Chairman Harka Raj Rai (Sampang) said that the problems of landless squatters and people living in unsystematic manner should not be resolved, they should not be displaced and people should not be chased away by demolishing their houses. <\/p>\n
He said that he had raised these issues in the first meeting of the House of Representatives after being elected to the House of Representatives from Sunsari constituency-1. He claimed that he has never lagged behind in evaluating the work done by the government and especially raising the bad and negative works. <\/p>\n
He made it clear that the government has always been aware of good and bad deeds in the context of work and that he is always in the place of urgency. He assured that he would not hesitate to stand by the people even if none of the other representatives were in favour of the people. <\/p>\n
“All people should have the right to live as the constitution has guaranteed fundamental rights,” he said. All people have the right to build a house. <\/p>\n
We are in favour that the state will not demolish that house in a way to spread terror. He suggested that all the people from Mechi to Mahakali should unite and raise voice against the government’s arbitrary move to demolish people’s houses and render them homeless. <\/p>\n
He expressed his commitment that he would always be with all the people for this work. He said that he would make these issues the main agenda of the people’s issues in the meeting of the House of Representatives. <\/p>\n
He assured that the Nepali people’s right to live would be raised in the streets and parliaments unitedly. He pledged to support and support the people by embracing their sorrows all the time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
