Iran has rejected a US offer to reduce tensions. According to a statement issued by the Iranian Embassy in India, accepting the offer would be tantamount to Tehran&#8217;s surrender to Trump&#8217;s excessive demands. <\/p>\n<p>Iran has sent its response to the US proposal through Pakistan. Earlier, Iran had said that it would give its opinion only after a detailed review of the US plan and a final conclusion. <\/p>\n<p>The Iranian embassy said in a post on X, that the proposal &#8220;clearly enshrines the fundamental rights of the Iranian nation&#8221;. At the same time, Tehran has rejected the US proposal, calling it &#8220;completely unacceptable&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>Iran has also included some tough conditions related to the US and Western countries in its proposal. The terms include an end to all sanctions, return seized Iranian assets, end US military presence in the Gulf, cease regional tensions and wars, and accept Tehran&#8217;s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has called Iran&#8217;s response &#8220;completely unacceptable&#8221;. He took to social media to express dissatisfaction with Iran&#8217;s response and strongly criticized it. <\/p>\n<p>According to international media, efforts are underway to reduce the escalating security tensions in the Middle East and the Gulf region.
