KATHMANDU: The government has decided to bring the participation of pension fund and Non-Resident Nepalis in the capital market. Unveiling the policies and programmes of the government in the parliament today, President Ram Chandra Poudel said the government would ensure the participation of the pension fund and the Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) in the capital market. <\/p>\n<p>He also said that the capital market would be developed as per the safe, competitive and international standards. &#8220;Participation of institutional investors, pension funds, insurance, mutual funds and non-resident Nepalis in the capital market will be expanded and capital market will be developed as per the safe, competitive and international standards,&#8221; he said. Securities regulation, NEPSE and clearing system will be restructured. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the government is going to expand the scope of crop and livestock insurance for small farmers.
