The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (DIT) has launched a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd. The government has issued an order to immediately return 500 grams of &#8216;Dabur Honey&#8217; (honey) produced by Dabur Honey Limited from the market. The samples of honey collected by the Department in course of market monitoring and inspection were found to be sub-standard when tested at the laboratory as per the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081 BS. <\/p>\n<p>Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd. located at Jitpur-Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-23 in Bara district. Ltd. The department issued the recall order on 2083\/02\/05 after the honey produced from the company, batch number AB 00477, production date 2025\/12 and consumable period of 18 months was proved to be sub-standard. <\/p>\n<p>As per the directive of the Director-General to immediately recall all the honey of the batch number as per the provision of sub-section (2) of Section 38 of the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081 BS and not to sell or distribute the products as per the sub-section (4) of the same section. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
