Kathmandu. A police team on regular patrolling has arrested 2,319 absconding defendants of different cases from different parts of the country in the month of April. According to the Central Police News Desk, 12 were arrested from the Central Investigation Bureau, 366 from Kathmandu Valley Police Office, 326 from Koshi State, 730 from Madhes, 199 from Bagmati, 204 from Gandaki, 330 from Lumbini, 68 from Karnali and 84 from Sudurpaschim. <\/p>\n
According to the police, the defendant was sentenced to 825 years, two months and 25 days in prison. A fine of Rs 21,53,69,110 has been recovered from them. <\/p>\n
